KETTLEBELL BOXING is a state of the art private training facility located in Venice, Ca. We use Russian kettle bells as the basis for our strength and conditioning programs and focus on precision techniques in regards to boxing skills. We offer small group classes and private training. Coach Edizen Stowell holds a Canadian national title in women’s boxing. Coach Alex Stowell has over 2o years of experience in strength/conditioning and competitive athletics including Div.1 football, wrestling and jiu-jitsu. Both are registered coaches for USA Boxing.

We offer both private and small group training.

Private training:

We encourage participants to bring a friend or loved one to train with and split the cost. As well, our programs are quite time efficient and often times 30 minutes is all that is necessary. So, we offer both 30 and 60 minute sessions. Our systems generally use a combination of kettle bells, boxing, plyometrics and sprint work, and are scheduled according to client availability. If you have questions about private training, or would like to set something up, give us a call!

Small group training:

We have a unique system for training small groups of people. We call it the “closed groups” model. Below are some FAQ’s.

What are the advantages of small group training at Kettlebell Boxing?
The reason the Kettlebell Boxing system is superior to other gyms or workouts is our format. We run small (3-5 people) groups with two coaches. The programs last six weeks, and it is the same people in the group every session. This coach to student ration and consistency allows us to analyze and advance individuals systematically and efficiently, building each workout upon the last.

Persons who successfully complete a six week program at KBB can expect large measurable progress, both in fitness level and skill set.

How does it work?
Each 6 week program starts with an introductory seminar. Here you will learn fundamental kettle bell and boxing techniques necessary to participate in the upcoming training. As well, you will meet your coaches, counterparts, and be introduced to structure and flow of the program. The seminar is usually held on a Saturday. Training commences the following week, and is held 3x/week for 75 minutes. There are a total of 18 practices per six week program.

When is practice?
As our classes generally sell out, contact us for availability.
There is a group that meets at 7:00 a.m. on T,Th and 10:00 a.m. Saturday.
There is a group that meets M,W,F at 12:30 p.m.

I am new to boxing and kettle bells, can I participate?
Yes, you may. Our small groups and high coach to student ratio allows us to take all levels. You are only competing with your self.

I have friends that want to train, can I make my own group?
Yes, you may. Talk to some of your buddies and give us a call. We can figure out when your group will train and if we need to add anyone.

Can I try it out once and see if I like it?
No, due to the learning curve and progressive nature of our unique system, it does not lend itself to this. But you can look at some video/written testimonials and see what they had to say about it. Train hard!
